Rush Limbaugh not allowed to bid for St. Louis Rams

Over last week it has been known that a few different groups of people have been bidding on the St. Louis Rams. Rush Limbaugh is part of one of those groups. But after a huge uproar in which Rush was called a racist, using quotes like this which Rush never made,

--"slavery had it's merits, I mean the streets were safer at night".

But the man who claims Rush Limbaugh said that did not source the quote AND Rush is saying that he did not say it. Nevertheless, the media has been on what seems like a smear campaign against Rush and today he was cut from the group putting in the bid.

This is an outrage: telling a person he can't bid just because of his views, but what is worse is telling a person he can't bid and it's based on a false charge!
This just tics me off and I hope Rush Limbaugh sues the person who brought out this false quote.

An Ignorant American

A women in Detroit was interviewed by news-station,WJR, after filing for a stimulus check from the city of Detroit.( part of an effort to keep low-income earning adults from becoming homeless)

ROGULSKI: Did you get an application to fill out yet?

WOMAN: I sure did. And I filled it out, and I am waiting to see what the results are going to be.

ROGULSKI: Will you know today how much money you're getting?

WOMAN: No, I won't, but I'm waiting for a phone call.

ROGULSKI: Where's the money coming from?

WOMAN: I believe it's coming from the City of Detroit or the state.

ROGULSKI: Where did they get it from?

WOMAN: Some funds that was forgiven (sic) by Obama.

ROGULSKI: And where did Obama get the funds?

WOMAN: Obama getting the funds from... Ummm, I have no idea, to tell you the truth. He's the president.

ROGULSKI: In downtown Detroit, Ken Rogulski, WJR News.

Now to me this is a perfect example of a person that has absolutely no idea how our country works!! This is a women that is a prime target for socialists, a person that has no idea what is going on. The government can control people like this by making them completely dependent on the government. This is what people like our current administration wants: people that will let the government do whatever it wants because they are too ignorant to call the government out on it.

( In case you were wondering where the government is getting this money they are giving to these people--YOU!!)

During President Obama's presidential run he told all of us that we needed to get out of Iraq and refocus our attention on Afghanistan, well, we have-kind of. We have troops on the field, but now President Obama seems to be buckling under pressure for he has made no movement to send Gen. Crystal more much needed soldiers and supplies. And now 24 libs in the house have signed their name to a bill presented by Barbara Lee ( D-CA) that would bar funding and troop installments in Afghanistan .

It seems that the Democrats have decided to declare defeat before we have even started. ( just as they wanted to in Iraq).

Even the President said that he is not comfortable with the word Victory.
I tell you what--it must be so frustrating as a general to be told to fight a war and then your Commander in chief won't help you by giving you what you need.

Obama in UN speech says Cars are melting the ice caps.

When President Obama gave his 94 minute address to the UN in New York, he took a jab at Boston and cars at the same time saying this:

OBAMA: Carbon emissions from cars in Boston and factories in Beijing are melting the ice caps and imperiling the planet.

This a joke! Scientific studies are showing that the polar ice caps are expanding, but of course libs are not going to admit this. Why? Because it is one of their best weapons to make you feel bad by telling you you're destroying the planet, so ( they say) you need to give us more money, give up your car, and buy a tiny "death trap" car(that barely holds one person)because of all the damage you have caused.

And then after telling you all this, they jump in their limo, go to the airport, and hop on board their own private jet!! And I'm saying why do they get my money and tell me to make sacrifices while they do what ever they want!!

Just again showing the hypocritical nature of Democrats!

"Ahmadinejad, Sir, did you steal the election?"

On September 18th, NBC reporter Ann Curry had an interview with Iran's " President," Ahmadinejad:

CURRY: Did you steal this election, sir?

AHMADINEJAD: I don't know what you mean by that.

CURRY: Did you create conditions so that you would win no matter the vote?

AHMADINEJAD: It's very clear whoever becomes a candidate will start a campaign and will do his utmost to win. I think we should be courageous enough to accept the vote of the people. It's more courageous than participating in the vote itself.

What in the world!? Does she think that Iran's president is going to come right out and say, "Oh, of course I did". Let me give you the names of the men that helped me. Let me tell you how we did so the whole world will know!

The interview continued later with this:

Curry:
So, may I assume, then, your answer to that question is, "No."

Ahmadinejad: My response to what question?

Curry: Is there a condition under which Iran would weaponize?

Ahmadinejad: We don't need such – we don't have such a need for nuclear weapons. We don't need nuclear weapons. Without such weapons, we are very much able to defend ourselves.

Curry: So, the answer is no, sir?

Ahmadinejad: I don't know what you mean by no?

Curry: Forgive me, sir. May I assume that the answer to the question, “Is there a scenario in which you, Iran, would weaponize?” May I understand that your answer is, “No.” It's a yes or no question, sir. And I'm asking if it's yes or no.

Ahmadinejad: If you are talking about the enrichment of uranium for peaceful purposes, this will never be closed down here in Iran. But if you are talking about weapons, we don't need such a weapon. It's not a part of our any – of our programs and plans.

Again this guy is not stupid, he is not going to say on national television that, of course we are going to arm up, we have nukes aimed at Israel right~now would you like me to show it to you?

Now remember this is the same man that denied the Holocaust ever happened and has said that he wants to see Israel wiped off the map. Now also remember that this is the man our President wants to go talk to about peace. This man does not seem like a person that is going to be peaceably talked out of something.

Right now I really wish we had a good old "Reagan style" of peace talking, That is we get all bombs pointed at the enemy and then say,"we talk you listen or else!" In other words, the guy with the most guns( in our case bombs)wins.

Nancy Pelosi

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi got emotional ( most likely faked emotion ) today as she talked about the "language" that is being spread about the health-care bill

PELOSI: This balance between freedom and safety is one that we have to carefully balance. I have concerns about some of the language that is being used because I saw this myself in the late seventies in San Francisco, ( voice starting to break ) this kind of rhetoric is very frightening and it created a climate in which we -- violence dictates.


Now last month when all the town hall meetings were going on Nancy Pelosi was saying that the people showing up to these meetings were Like Nazis and " carrying swaztikas "

If anyone needs to watch their "language" it's her! This seems a little hypocritical to me.

September 11th, remember.

U.S September 11th 2009

Yesterday was the 8th anniversary of the September 11th on which day two planes loaded with fuel and passengers were hijacked and flown into the World Trade Center in New York, New York by suicide Terrorist. This horrendous act of undeclared war claimed the lives of almost 3,000 United State citizens.

The U.S set troops across seas to fight against these murders and we are still fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan to root out and kill these terrorists who’s only goal is to reek havoc and cut short lives of innocent people around the world. We have been to this point successful each time a new rebel leader emerges our brave troops have been able either to capture or to kill these men. The only man that has escaped our troops have been a terrorist leader by the name of Osama Binladi’n and it has been speculated that he may now be dead. We have also successfully kept our borders safe in that there has not been another act of terror on U.S soil to this day.


But sadly some people in Government would have us pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan and declare defeat. Have we so quickly forgotten what happened on this day in 2001 and I say now for the sake of our men and women who died that day, for the sake of our military, for the sake of all people across the world, let us fight on. Let us not be known as a nation that backs down just because the going is tough. As it was said by Churchill during WW2 “Blood Sweat Tears” (and I will add) victory!!

I pray that my children and my children’s children will never have fear for their safety just because our country didn’t have the will to finish the job.

As I have heard it said, you must either fight evil or be defeated by it.

Taxes and Liberty

Taxes and liberty they go hand in hand. How? Well, think about it this way; if you are allowed to keep all the hard-earned money you make that means you have the liberty to do what you want with your money. When the government takes your money you have less liberty to use your money as you see fit.

Think about it this way: Rather than having to pay into social security wouldn't you rather keep your money and provide for your own retirement?

If you only had to pay 25% of the taxes you pay now, how much money could you use to: buy items in the store ( stimulates the economy ), invest ( helps the stock market ), or save for retirement ( saves the government money on social security).

Add your own--the possibilities are endless.

" Free " National Healthcare or a loss of our " Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness"?

It seems that the big battle right now between liberals and conservatives is nationalized healthcare.

The president has been trying to push this through as fast as he can. Why is this? Because the American people are waking up to what he is doing. But what is national healthcare anyway, and what's wrong with it?

National healthcare is basically this: All American people will be pressured to have a government-paid-for (in other words, "free") and government-run healthcare system. So what's wrong with this idea? Well, number one, we can't afford it; number two, it won't be free--us, the people will have two pay for it; number three, it won't work; and number four, it is an encroachment on our freedoms.

I will explain these answers starting with "number one." As you may know, our government is over 10 trillion--yes that's with a "t"--in debt. Now I don't know about you but my parents taught me that when you don't have the money you don't spend it, so how in the world is our government going to pay for this if we are already in debt! And that brings us in to "number two": Since we don't have the money to spend, our government has to get more money from somewhere. Yeah that's right they will get the money from us the people of the United States. You think your taxes are bad now . . . if they pass this bill your taxes are just going to get HIGHER!!

Now "number three"--to explain this I will point you to Canada and the U.K.
National healthcare in those countries is awful, you will almost never hear a Canadian or an Englishman say how great his health care is, because it's horrible! For a surgery you may have to wait years to get what you need. Talk show host Rush Limbaugh made a great point when he said in his interview on FOX, where does everybody go who wants good healthcare? They don't go to Canada or the U.K., they come here! Even though it's not free they still recognize that our country has a much better system. We have the best healthcare system in the world! Why do we need do we need something else that has already been proven to fail!

So lastly, why do I think that this is an encroachment on our freedoms? Because of this: If the government decides to pay for our healthcare who do you think decides what kind of treatment you receive? Who decides if your life is even worth saving? The government, that's who. And do you really want to put your life in the hands of politicians? And since they will pay for this with our tax money, isn't that taking away your freedom and your liberty to do what you want with that money?

I would strongly urge you to write to your Senators and State Representative asking them to vote NO on a national healthcare bill.

What is so great about Sotomayor?

First of all I would like to say sorry for not posting for a while but I have been in Boston for a week and then went down to Columbus, Ohio for about three days.

Now I would like to ask all of my readers what has qualified Sotomayor to this position? Nobody in government seems to be answering this question.

What do we know about this woman? What has she accomplished? I know she was raised in a poor,single-mother family and I am glad that she has been able to rise above her situation in life, but does that make her a qualified person for this position? It seems that all we know about her is that she is Hispanic and that she made a decision against a white firefighter.( which by the way has been overturned in the Supreme Court)

The hearings begin on the 13th and I hope some questions are answered.

This is a scary Youtube video by a left-wing msnbc pundit Rachel Maddow on Preventive Detention, and it seems that even the left-wing media is starting to have doubts about President Barack Obama.

First it was Chrysler ,now it is GM- so how can this be happening? The president has given GM billions of dollars ( our tax money be the way) to keep it from bankruptcy. Well in the first place you shouldn't give money to a failing business, and why is GM failing? Well most likely because they are not making cars that people want to buy!

So now after billions of taxpayer money is spent on keeping GM from going under, they still are going bankrupt, millions in debt. So now instead of letting a failing business go under like what happens in the normal business world, the president decides to take it over.

Now our government is already 2 trillion dollars in debt and they are taking over a business that is in debt! So how is the government going to pay off this debt? The same argument could be made about nationalized health-care, how are they going to pay for it?

And here is another thing, can you give me an example of a program or business that is run by the government, that is run better than a private business could run it. I mean look at Social Security and Medicare. Medicare is giving more money that it is bringing in and it looks like Social Security is going down the drain.

So now that Obama has taken over GM, how is this going to affect competition? Look at Ford- it did not accept any bailout money and is still afloat, why? Well probably they are making cars that Americans want to buy and using their heads in business, like you do when things get tough like: spending less and being careful with what you do spend.

But now Ford is will be competing with the Government and CEO of GM ( Now, Government Motors ) Barack Obama. That doesn't seem fair to a company that is doing it's best to make money without accepting American tax dollars.

So in conclusion I would like to salute Ford for not taking any money from the Government and I would like to say that GM is not ( based on what we know about government run programs) going to get better, it's going to get worse, and I think this is a waste of American Tax Money (ATM) The Governments' ATM.

As for our family, we will be much more inclined to buy a Ford rather than a GM car!

I-like to I-pass.

Now I don't want this blog to be a ''what happened to me this week'' kind of blog but I heard a story lately that I have to share with you.

My step-grandfather and step-grandmother, (whose names are Robert Doolittle and Ruth Doolittle) have come to our house to spend a day and a half with my family. They are missionaries to Brazil half of the year (although he is supposed to be retired). I might also add that their granddaughter and my step-cousin whose name is Jenifer follows this blog.


Well, last night they told us a story about when they where driving through Chicago. It went like this: ( and I paraphrase my grandfather telling the story)

We were driving through Chicago and paying all these tolls, and I was wondering why we had to pay these tolls while other people just zipped right through without paying a thing. They just went under something called an I-pass. So I kept going down the road until I came to the next toll-booth and I asked the black lady who was in the booth " what are those I-pass things"?
She said " Oh it's just different." And I thought to myself " Ya it's different all right." So next toll booth I came to I was still wondering about this I-pass thing and I accidentally got in the wrong lane ( it was an I-pass lane instead of a Pay Lane) So I went right through and said to Ruth " I pass!" and nothing happened so I thought "these I-pass things are great; they are fast and they don't cost anything"!

So went through three or four of these I-pass lanes and nobody stopped me--it was great!

OK, by now my family is busting out laughing and we told him what an I-pass is and he says
I didn't know that, I don't have an I-pass but I have a " JESUS I-BELIEVE" sign in the front dash of my car.

So my mom says, "You guys are going to get a fine," and my grandma says " This might get expensive, doing this I-pass thing."

Well, we all went to bed laughing and I hope you got a laugh out of this too.

Swine Flu, Epidemic or cover up?

Lately, when I listen to news on the radio I hear about a new "sickness", Swine Flu. Now let's look at the facts and then let's see what you think about this so called "epidemic". This Flu has killed two people in the U.S. and one of these was not a resident of the United States, but, a citizen of Mexico. Now this flu has been going on for about 3-4 weeks and has killed two people (in the U.S.). But did you know that just the normal flu kills 30,000-36,000 people in the United States each year! That's 90-100 people ( on average )each day!

And we are panicked because 2 people have died in three weeks!

But Evan , ( you say) there are around 170 cases of this flu in this country and a lot more in Mexico--shouldn't I be worried? Not at all. From the numbers I have shown you, you are more likely to die of a common flu than of swine flu.

So why are the media and the Government so keyed up about this if this is no big deal?

That's a good question! If this is not a big deal and we should not worry, why are schools closing down because of this Swine flu? Speaking of schools, I know of a school in Houston that closed down just because a kid came to school and showed flu-like symptoms, they didn't even confirm that it was swine flu!

Even some of the Doctors are saying this is not a huge deal.

So, I wonder, is the Government just trying to make this look like a big deal so that they can pass some their own agendas, like trillion dollar budgets?
